On Saturday Leicester host Cardiff City in their 3rd Championship fixture of the 2023/24 season. Both clubs are looking to grab all 3 points but for different reasons. Cardiff are looking to pick up their first win of the season after drawing on the opening day against newly relegated Leeds United but losing at home to QPR… Cardiff sit in 17th place with 1 point out of 6 available.

Leicester on the other hand are looking at getting their 3rd league win in a row after coming back from 1-0 down to Coventry to win 2-1 with 2 goals from Dewsbury-Hall and a sweet strike from Mavididi to take all 3 points home from Huddersfield. They sit 2nd in the league behind Ipswitch.

“Based on how this season has begun, this should be one of our easiest fixtures yet. Coventry was no cake walk and going away to Neil Warnock’s Huddersfield is always a challenge, but Cardiff have had a stinker of a start. Being 2-0 against Leeds to throw it away and draw & to let QPR walk away with all 3 points… For me this match should be nothing short of a win, and a belter of a match it should be. I predict we will win 4-0 with new loan signing Casadei bagging the first goal, showing that James Maddison esque quality we have missed in attack”
