Can We Make It 2 League Wins In A Row?! Preview by Matt Ballard
Foxes looking to make it two on the bounce against struggling Leeds
Brendan Rodgers men will be hoping to avoid the so-called ‘new manager bounce’ as they face a Leeds side desperate to get a result from somewhere under new manager Jesse Marsch.
The Northern Irishman will also be hoping it will be a joyous occasion as it is his 3rd anniversary in the role since arriving from Celtic in March 2019. “I’ve enjoyed every second of it. Our challenge was to disrupt the top six, and we’ve done that and won a trophy.”
Leicester will be boosted by the fact it looks like Jamie Vardy will start, and you would expect the clinical striker to have an impact against the worst defence in the league. With the gaffer saying, “he’s fresh; we’ve missed his movement and energy.’’
Leeds are winless since a 3-2 win away against West Ham in mid-January, but since then have shipped 21 goals, only scoring 4, Marsch having to fix issues across the pitch entirely. Whereas the foxes will be hoping to make it back to back wins for the first time since mid-october where they beat Brentford and Manchester United on the spin
