Callum McGregor to Leicester from Celtic?

Now is our time to sign some players! We have sold Chilwell to Chelsea for a undisclosed fee, rumoured to be around the £50 Million mark, so we now have roughly a £50 Million spending fee to go out and sign some players!

It’s not that we need to improve on our squad, because they got us into a 5th place finish, but we do need to develop our depth ready for Europa League football, with us looking at signing Tagliafico to replace Chilwell, who else will we sign? Well reports have it that we are interested in Callum McGregor from Celtic!

It is rumoured that Celtic are willing to let him go for around the £20 Million mark, which is a good amount for the midfielder! He would link well with Rodgers, as he played under his management for him at Celtic, so he would already have that link coming into Leicester, but do we need another Midfielder?
He has been playing for Celtic since 2013, and has made 176 appearances for them, scoring 31 goals in the Scottish Premier League. He is a Scotsman himself, at age 27, making 18 appearances for Scotland since 2017. He seems like a decent squad player, a good rotation player, but we have enough midfielders… Right?!

“He seems like a decent squad player, and might help us out for Europa League, but we don’t need another Midfielder. We have multiple Midfielders, more than we need because we can’t sell the ones we thought would be regular 1st team players, like Silva and James. The only reason i could think we would sign him is because we are looking to sell the likes of those players, along with Praet, but i think i would keep our money and spend it some where else and keep Praet instead, and offload the deadwood…”
