Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leicester Cty

Saturday 23rd November 3:00pm

Amex Stadium

Leicester City head south post international break for a conventional Saturday afternoon match up against mid table Brighton.

The seagulls have 2 wins and 2 defeats in their past 4 Premier League ties with both victories coming at home to Norwich and Everton respectfully.

With trips to Liverpool and Arsenal looming on the horizon Brighton manager Graham Potter will be hoping that his side continue their home form and the seagulls can maintain their 6 point safety buffer from the relegation fight ensuing beneath them

French forward Neal Maupay is the seagulls top scorer this term with 4 to his name to date, but Brighton boss Potter will have to choose his side without the services of defenders Adam Webster (injured) and Lewis Dunk (suspended). Young Irish forward Aaron Connolly is battling to recover in time for this one with a groin injury and if he doesn’t make it Glenn Murray may well be pressed into action.

The foxes currently sit in a hugely credible 2nd place in the Premier league but the international break has not proved kind to their momentum. Northern Irish defender Jonny Evans was quarantined with an illness whist away with his country and it’s not clear if he has recovered enough to play any part in this match. In addition midfield creative spark James Maddison has come back from England duty with a calf injury that will leave foxes boss Brendan Rodgers with the dilemma of risking him or not.

City will be hugely keen to maintain their winning prowess and continue their pace at the top of the table, and the majority of pundits and bookies have the foxes favourites to come out of this one with a narrow victory.

Brighton & Hove Albion possible line up: Ryan, Montoya, Balogun, Duffy, Burn, March, Propper, Stephens, Gross, Maupay, Murray

Leicester City possible line up: Schmeichel, Ricardo, Morgan, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Tielemans, Praet, Perez, Barnes, Vardy
