Wilfred Ndidi is on the top of the list for Brendan Rodgers at Celtic… Yes, our former manager is now poaching some of our players to join Scottish side Celtic after Rodgers recently re-joined them after being sacked by Leicester City at the back end of the 2022/23 season.

It is rumoured that there are a handful of players Rodgers would like to nab off Leicester to Celtic after their Relegation back to the Championship, which Rodger’s was a massive part in Leicester’s journey back down to the Championship…

So, is this a good move for Wilfred?!

There has been reports that Saudi clubs are interested in the Nigerian footballer for a fee of £35 Million, which by the way was a price tag that Rodgers himself had applied to Ndidi…

After an amazing start to his career at Leicester City, his name was flown amongst the big boys for a fee of 60-80 Million at clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona… Oh how it went wrong for Wilf…

Wilfred joined Leicester back in 2017 as a young prospect player, and after a first couple of very impressive seasons his name was being chucked around as a move, but he signed a big contract with the Foxes to secure himself on a big contract, and also a potential big move away from the club for a massive fee, but since 2020 he has picked up some injuries and hasn’t recovered back to his normal self…

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say on Ndidi…
“What a player he used to be, it’s a shame injuries caught up with him as he was a real game changer. We’re in a tough position, but if a club want him, let him go. Of course Rodgers wants to take him with him to Celtic, but business is business and his time is done at Leicester. We need the money, and him off his high wages, so now is a good time to let him go and get some cash back”

What do YOU make to Ndidi leaving the club?
