After a slow 45 minutes, we needed to pick it up in the second half, and we just about did that!

With our new boy, Castagne coming into the Right Back, and JJ at Left Back, we had a pretty solid team, but we didn’t know how it would shape up… But it all worked out for us!
With Timmy scoring the first goal, setting up the first goal, and then Vardy winning the penalty to make it 2-0 with 15 minutes to go, we where all over the Baggies!

Here is a match summary!

A debut goal by Timothy Castagne and two Jamie Vardy penalties earned Leicester City a 3-0 win over promoted West Bromwich Albion.

Harvey Barnes was denied twice in quick succession by Sam Johnstone while Kasper Schmeichel saved from Matheus Pereira at the other end during a goalless first half.

Leicester took the lead in the 56th minute, with Belgian Dennis Praet crossing for compatriot Castagne to head in at the far post.

Vardy made it 2-0 on 74 minutes, scoring from the spot after he was fouled by Kyle Bartley to equal Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in five successive away matches against the same opponent.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner sealed the victory with a second penalty 10 minutes later, converting after Dara O’Shea had brought down James Justin.
