Best defender we’ve had?! Matt Elliott!

The Scotsman signed for us back in 1997 and played until 2005, and he had a very good career at Leicester!
The Defender made 245 appearance’s for us, scoring 26 goals, a good rate for a defender!

We signed him from Oxford United, and he was on 148 appearance’s to 21 goals, which ultimately lead to us signing to him!
He had a very good career, making 589 appearance’s with 70 goals from 1998-2005, ending his career at Leicester, some might say he had a better conversion rate than a lot of Strikers!

Not only did he play professional Football for his clubs, but he made 18 appearance’s for Scotland from 1997-2001, only bagging himself the one goal
