Benkovic To City – Fans Views

The latest rumours are on this new lad called Benkovic… He is a young defender and a good player, all of us from 100% LCFC hope that he will be playing along side Maguire and not replacing him.
Maybe be a Three at the back? Morgan, Maguire,and Benkovic
Or will he develop into a Morgan replacement over the season?

Won’t be a replacement will be stern competition for Morgan and Evans for that other starting spot. Think we will be pushing for Europe this season and bringing in another quality CB just confirms that!

If we need 2 players for every position, we need 4 decent CB’s. This gives us Benkovic, Maguire, Evans and Morgan, with Benalouane and Johnson as back ups, and also Fuchs and Amartey who can play there. All good, unless he goes 3 at the back, in which case we could use the boy from Brentford too…

Ideally wanted Gibson. Still think we should have kept Liam Moore. If Maguire goes will be last minute and should try and get one of utds in return, Smalling, Jones or Rojo. Not by choice but so we aren’t left hanging with only the like of Benny who isn’t good enough in my opinion
