Belgium Wonderkid Coming to Leicester?!

We are interested in signing young Belgium defender Arthur Theate from Bologna, who has had a good season long loan spell with the club, then signed for them at the end of the season… But why are they letting him go so soon?

He joined Bologna from Oostende on a season long loan, and it was in the contract that if he played a certain amount of games, he will have to sign a permanent deal with Bologna… Which inevitably they had to sign him…

He has played 31 games for them, keeping a handful of clean sheets and bagging a couple of goals for them. He has been good enough to play enough matches for them, but why are they willing to get rid of him straight away?

He is 22 years old, and has broke his way into the Belgium 1st team in last couple of years, and is looking onwards and upwards… Will he fit into our Leicester side?!

“I think he looks like a good little defender, but im not sure why we would need him. Bologna want to sell him after he just signed, which means 1 of 2 things… They don’t rate him enough to stay there, or they are cashing on on him for a quick buck for a higher price they just bought him for.

I would like to see him at Leicester, but we do not need another CB… Unless we get rid of what we already have. We have Cags, Vesta, Amartey, Fofana & Evans around the first team, not to mention some young youth players coming up through the academy, so we definitely need to ship out this ‘dead wood’ before we sign anyone new…” – Sam

We need to sign a Right Winger before the new season desperately, and we need some better back-ups for injuries in my eyes.
