Barnes is in the England squad!

Today at 2PM Southgate announced his England squad for the international break, and our very own Harvey Barnes got called up!

There is a few players from Leicester that could have been called up, but with Maddison being injured and Vardy retired from international football, our best players have not been involved with England for a while, and now that Chilwell left, we only had a few players on the fringes of getting into the team, so congradulations to Barnes!

This is what leicester fan tv’s Sam had to say on Barnes getting called up…
“I’m glad that he got called up to the England team, it is about time we got some more players into that squad! He has had an electric start for us in our opening 3 matches, and hopefully he gets to come off the bench or make a start for England in the international break. Good luck to Barnes!”
