We played Spurs in a Sunday early evening match, and it is fair to say that it did not go as expsected We played well, and had the better chances, possession, and passes, but Spurs where clinical on the counter attack and they got 3 goals from clinical counter attack... After coming off an amazing win against an on form Sheff United, we now go into the weekend playing a decent Spurs side... And again we NEED to win to be in for a chance for Champions League! We have played Spurs a total of 27 times in the Premier League, and we are dead even on wins! Yesterday we went into the Sheffield United match after we just got stuffed by 19th place Bournemouth, and they came off a back to back win against Wolves and Chelsea who sat higher than Sheffield, and a lot of fans where not looking forward to the match (if we played as bad as we did against Bournemouth...!), and we all thought that if we did not win the match, our season was just about done... Our next match is against a very on form Sheffield United, and we need to get all three points to still be in for a chance to get Champions League this season... Will we get it? After Chelsea losing to Sheffield United, we looked like we might snatch 3rd place IF we won against Bournemouth... But as we all know, we did not beat 19th place Cherries, and this gave Manchester United the chance to push into 3rd place... But they did not capitalise on both us and Chelsea losing!
