Can we win the league this season?!

Social-distance celebration! Goals in both halves from Maddison and Barnes earned the Foxes a 2-0 win over Southampton at the King Power Stadium. Maddison fired the Foxes ahead in the 37th minute when we receive a pass from Youri Tielemans, and finished emphatically in the top of the net from a tight angle, and a lot of people thought he hit the side netting, but it was the opening goal! Leicester were twice indebted to goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, who, on his 400th appearance for the club, superbly denied Che Adams and Ryan Bertrand. Can we go 2nd place?! Match Preview!

Next up... Southampton! We are sitting comfortably in 3rd place at the moment, 1 point behind Liverpool. If we win this weekend, we can go 2nd place, depending on how the Everton and Liverpool match go, but Liverpool face league leaders Man United, so one of those teams will be dropping some points, so hopefully we can capitalize this weekend and edge even closer to the top spot!
