All-Clear for new Stadium extension !!

After we changed from Filbert Street to our new stadium, currently known as the King Power, back in 2002 we had a maximum capacity of 32,000!

One of the only time’s we filled this was when Real Madrid came to us in a pre-season friendly! What a match that was!
But as we are becoming a more progressive club, and this being our 6th year in the Premier League, we are looking at an extension!
We have seen us almost get relegated, but doing ‘the great escape’ to then go onto winning the league on the complete other side of the spectrum!
From this, we are almost full week in week out, regardless of when we play…Weekends, Weekdays, afternoons or evening’s the Leicester fans are always there!
With this, we are almost confident that we can fill the ground even more with more legendary fans! The club is looking for around a 10,000 person increase to take our total to 42,000!

They have officially said…

“Investment in the club continues, with the opening of a new 180-acre training ground in north Leicester due in June 2020 and newly-announced plans to redevelop the King Power Stadium site… with a 30 per cent increase in capacity”

What are your best memories and moments so far inside the King Power? Phil’s and Sams’ favourite goal was Vardy’s wonder strike against Liverpool against Mignolet…!

Some of you might be wondering what the King Power would look like with it’s ground extension, and where about it would be placed… Luckily we have some concept photos of the ground, before and what it would look like with the extension here…!

We at 100% LCFC personally think that the extension looks really good and it would improve the atmosphere with an extra 10,000 fans signing their hearts out from the beginning to the last minute! If and when this new extension comes into the King Power, which side would it suite the best? if you could would you keep your seat or change into the new stand?

Along with the new King Power extension undergoing plans and permissions, we have started to make our new £100 Million training ground!
