Alan young’s time at Leicester!
The Scottish Striker made 104 appearances for us from 1979 to 1982, playing a total of 104 matches and scoring 26 goals.
He came to us from Oldham United with a record of 122 games and 30 goals, around the same conversion rate he had at Leicester!
After leaving us, he went on to play for Sheffield united, Brighton and Notts County amongst other clubs… And he overall made 349 appearance’s and 89 goals in his total career! He retired around the 1987-1988 season, and with a pretty good career total as well!
After retiring he did BBC Radio Leicester for a few years, and added a lot of comedy and enjoyment during the matches for the fans listening!
We asked you, the fans, if you have any good memories and moment of Youngy at Leicester, and this is what you had to say on him!
