A new Winger is on his way to Leicester!?

Again we are in the rumour news for signing a new player, and this week we have been linked heavily with a Roma Winger!

We are interested in Cengiz Under from Roma. He is a 23 year old Turkish player, so he would link up well with Cags at Leicester! He has made 70 appearances for Roma, scoring 13 goals, which is a decent conversion rate for a Winger, and he has created a handful of goals! He has been an impact player for them, and is looking to join a handful of different clubs, Leicester being one of them, among Newcastle and Everton… Who would he rather join?!

“I’d love to see a new Winger at the club, and i can see him coming for a handful of reasons. The main one is that he would link up well with Soyuncu, as they have been playing together in the Turkish International side. He is a Right Winger, so that makes me think that we are selling Gray, and we are replacing him with new blood, as i don’t think we would sign another Winger whilst he is still there. If we do sign him it is a risk, but Gray has not shown his potential with his time at Leicester, so maybe it is a risk we should go for…!”

According to an exclusive report courtesy of Inside Futbol, Leicester City are holding an interest in AS Roma winger Cengiz Under amid the player’s links with a loan move to Newcastle United – but it has now emerged that the Serie A side wish to sell him for around £23.7 million.

Under, who only managed 10 starts during the entirety of last campaign, got off to a good start at the Stadio Olimpico after signing from Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir – making 26 league appearances and scoring seven goals in his debut campaign (The Sun).

However, a combination of injury issues and poor form since then has resulted in Under’s future at Roma being questioned – with a Premier League move now being touted by the media as he looks to reignite his career.
