Tottenham move for Kim Min-jae to fend off Chelsea interest as Mourinho makes transfer decision - football.london

One of the latest rumours to appear [Source: Korea JoongAng Daily] is that we are looking at signing a new defender from Fenerbahce, a young South Korean player!

What do you know about Kim Min-jae? Well, read more about him down below here!

Facts and stats about Kim Min-jae

Min-jae is a South Korean Centre-back, who is 25 years old, and has stuck the papers as the likes of Spurs and Arsenal are also interested in him, but we are also interested in him!

He currently plays for Fenerbahce, and has only just joined them last season, making 31 appearances for them, scoring 1 goal, getting 5 yellow cards and 1 red card, which show that he is an aggressive CB, is that something we need?

Before joining Fenerbahce, he played for Beijing Guoan in the Chinese Super League, making 45 appearances and only getting 1 yellow card in his whole time there…

He is also an international player, making 42 appearances for South Korea, and scoring 3 goals, a decent track record for them!

Fans thoughts and views

“He looks like a decent cover player, and someone who would be a good squad depth player in his first season. With the likes of Fofana and Evans as the starting pair in my opinion, we have Amartey and Soyuncu, although it looks like Cags is on his way out, so it would be good to bring in a new young talented defender who knows what to do at the back” – Sam

“I don’t think we need another centre back this season, and if we would get a new one, we should get a familiar face, not another ‘prospect’ player. We should have signed Tarkowski from Burnley, but there’s another defender that we know he can offer a decent standard who looks like he going to rivals Everton…” – Jake
