Rumours has it that we are looking to sign a new Centre Back for the upcoming season, and the latest rumour is that we are looking to sign Ozan Kabak from Schalke 04, who was on loan last season at Liverpool but only made 9 appearances for them.

So, what do you know about him? read more to read his career so far!

Kabak started his career at Turkish giants Galatasaray back in 2018, making 14 appearances for them in his 1 season at the club. He then moved to VfB Stuttgart, making 15 appearances and scoring 3 goals. in 2019 he got comfortable at Schalke and made 40 appearances, scoring 3 goals and being a very solid defender, but his opportunity to move to League Champions Liverpool came up and he took it.

Although he didn’t make loads of appearances for Liverpool, he still made a statement and had booked himself on our radar.

He is only 21 years old, and is looking to find consistent football, he is a Turkish Centre-Back who has paired well with Cags and hopefully he can persuade him to come to the club.

What do you think to the young Turkish player coming to the club?

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about him…
“I think he looks like a solid player, and someone who can come in and do a solid job for us when he is needed. I hope he is coming to fight for a 1st team spot, and not to replace one of our key defenders like Cags or Fofana. It’s hard to say where he would fit into as we have Cags Fofana and Evans alongside with the youngsters, so if he comes i think he would be a rotation player which is what we missed last season, so hopefully when needed he can do a solid job!”
