Leicester City ratings v Manchester United: Thomas stunner and Soyuncu header earn huge win - Leicestershire Live

Soyuncu’s second-half header gave Leicester City a 2-1 win at Manchester united that confirmed Man City the Premier League champions… So we won the league this season… just for Man City!

We took a 10th minute lead when Thomas connected with a Tielemans cross to volley in a stunning first Premier League goal!

Manchester United levelled only 5 minutes later as PL debutant Amad Diallo set up Greenwood to net his 6th goal in as many matches…

But although Man United brought on Rashford, Cavani and Fernandes, Leicester took the lead on the 66th minute with a KING CAGS goal set up by the assist merchant Marc Albrighton!

Fernandes for Man United had the best chance to keep the title race alive but his shot went wide lae on as Man United slipped 10 points behind local rivals Man City, allowing them to win the Premier League!

Leicester move above Chelsea into third and are now eight points above fifth-placed West Ham United, who have a match in hand.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match last night…
“It was a great match, and it was much needed. It wasn’t the cleanest of matches, and yes we faced a weaker Manchester United side, but 3 points was much needed! It’s another 3 points closer to Champions League football next season, and it is also a great confidence boost for this weekend’s match against Chelsea in the FA CUP Final. Hopefully the win last night can boost some players confidence and get them ready for the big match this weekend! With all that said it’s good to see a well fought out win back in the Premier League! Come on Lestah!!

Can we do the same again vs Chelsea? Come and watch the highlights from last nights match down below here!
