Vardy scored a 90th minute goal which sealed the deal for Leicester in a 2-1 win away to Sheffield United, and it is safe to say that was much needed!

Vardy thumped an early effort against the woodwork before the Foxes took the lead on the 24th minute through Perez, who was brought back into the squad after a few matches absence, and reacted the quickest to Albrightons shot deflected, and bagged the first goal

That advantage that Leicester got only lasted 2 minutes, with another set piece goal scored against us, with Oli McBurnie heading in Lundstram’s corner…

Maddison also hit the woodwork in the same position as Vardy in the first half, and we were pushing for another goal before the half, but we went into the half 1-1.

McBurnie came close to scoring another header on 66 minutes and then Kelechi Iheanacho was thwarted by Ramsdale.

In the end Vardy came through and claimed all three points late on, as a slick pass from Maddison set him up nicely and he did his typical Vardy goal, which a typical Vardy celebration!

The result moves Leicester up to fourth, while Sheffield United remain bottom with one point.

Next up in the Premier League, we will face Brighton, who are struggling down in 16th place, so let’s go and get another 3 points please!

This is what Leicester Fan Tv Sam had to say about our 2-1 win away to the Blades…
“It was a must needed win. We left it a little bit late, and almost gave Sheffield United their 2nd point of the season. Thankfully we got the goal that gave us all 3 points, it was shakey for us throughout the whole match, but 3 points is 3 points, and we need to take this confidence into this week’s matches against AEK and Brighton.”
