Whether we finish 4th or 5th this season, you would have all happily took 5th if we were offered it back in August 2019.. admit it … you would, so why on earth are some people asking for Rodgers to be out ? We are all disappointed if after being in the Champions League spot since September to not make it over the line feels like a defeat, but IF we finish 5th [and i still believe we can finish 4th] but if we finish 5th, that is still an OUTSTANDING season for Leicester City !! We have probably just learnt that to compete to the finals of cups and get into top 4’s will need a deeper quality squad, and young lads will grow with experience. Whatever happens THIS season, I am already looking forward to NEXT season ! Do YOU agree ?

we asked you, the fans, this question… And this is what you had to say on our season, and what you think about it as we come to the dying ends, with only 1 more game to watch… And it is a MASSIVE match against Manchester United…

James Booth
Why is everyone happy with 5? I think its been a really disappointing season. Should have have a top 4 finish done and dusted by now. We have lost to Norwich,Bournmouth away,Villa in the cup, there awful teams But we have bottled to many matches and dont deserve it and if we do get it, it will only for the sept oct nov part of the season. Since Norwich at home things have gone really down hill or since “my teams play better in the second half of the season” they clearly dont

Alan Wood
At the start of the season there was talk of a top six finish, simples job done 👏 I think we are play well at the moment just a pity we can’t put most chances created away. No matter what happens against Man Utd on Sunday all I ask is we have a good go at them. COME ON YOU FOXES

John Belcher
100% agree. Everything went for us in the first half of the season. Virtually no injuries. No suspensions. Most VAR decisions went our way. Exactly the opposite in the second half. Key injuries, awful VAR decisions all went against us and Soyuncu’s suspension the most crucial of the lot.Over the whole 37 games so far we are exactly where we deserve to be. It’s all on Saturday. If we get Champions League with all the glitz and glamour and financial reward brilliant. If it’s Europa League also brillianteith a good chance of going a long was in it

Neil Birchenough
Sundays defeat was down to poor defensive work by individuals and you can’t put that down to the manager we had a weakened squad availability. The games coming thick and fast since the lock down have not been ideal for the older players such as Evans and Vardy who have not been able to perform to their best due to the physical exertions. I think that the Foxes more than most have missed the support of the fans from the terraces. I think what has been exposed is where the squad lacks depth. We desperately need a quality offensive midfielder and another out and out finisher up front in the Ings or Salah mode. I’m also afraid that the time is up for many of the fringe players who need to be moved on to accommodate an upgrade of the squad quality.

Terry Payne
I’m more than happy with 5th one thing this has shown we have no real depth in the squad that need addressing in the transfer window.

Andrew Turlington
At Christmas I would have said we’re good enough to play in the Champions league. But the way we dropped off in the 2nd half of the season suggests we are not good enough. I think we can have a real go at the Europa league.

Paul Hylands
I am more than happy with how the league campaign has gone, apart from Bournemouth away…
All that has been shown is you need strength in depth,a bit of perspective is required amongst the fickle Rogers out brigade.
European place secure and strengthen in the window,Brendan is building a special team imo and it needs at least 3 windows to get anywhere near the so called top 6 squads so to be fair we’re doing great
Keep the faith people

Jackie Jones
Totally agree. I put a bet on before season started that we would finish in too 6. I suppose it’s a little disappointing that we probably wont finish in top 4 now after such a good start but it’s the injuries and small squad that have caught us out. Let Brendan get a few new players in and let’s go for it next season

Michael Kneafsey
The goal was top 6. Frustrating to watch when we know we can play better but we can’t get above our station. We’ve had injuries and suspensions to vital players. Just the way it goes in football! Still will finish 5th possibly 4th if we can pull one last performance out the bag

Geoffrey Parry
Iam a Leicester supporter would have been happy with top 8 we have let are selfs down a bit could have done a lot better but still happy onwards and upwards come city

Geraldo Khan
Lots of Leicester fans on here giving it the ‘Two horse race’ at Christmas and you’ve finished 5th. You sing a song that Tottenham finished third in a two horse race yet Leicester now finished fifth in a two horse race.
