Tielemans’ stunning strike and Madder’s second half winner helped us claim a hard-fought victory against Brentford!

Brentford started of brightly as Norgaard drew a smart save from Kasper before TOney’s goal on 7 minutes was ruled out for offside.

But, it was Leicester who made a breakthrough on 14 minutes when Tielemans hit an unstoppable half-volley into the top corner from 25 yards.

Schmeichel denied Toney an equaliser with an acrobatic fingertip save but the Bees were back on level terms on the hour mark thanks to Zanka’s glancing header from Jensen’s corner…

But Maddison struck the winner with 17 minutes remaining, sliding home after substitute Daka had unselfishly squared the ball

Maddison’s goal was also the 35th of Gameweek 9, the most this season.

Leicester move up to ninth on 14 points, two points and three places ahead of Brentford.

“I think we scraped a good win away, with a solid performance. Going into the match i thought that it was going to be tough, and it was a tough match, but we pushed through and rather than folding like we have done in the past, we took the lead through a good goal, came back after conceding a goal, keeping good form and grabbing the winner!”
