Norwich City 1-2 Leicester City reaction: Rodgers talks after City hang on for win - Leicestershire Live

Albrighton’s 76th minute strike earned us a 2nd victory of the season as we beat Norwich 2-1 at Carrow Road.

Vardy put us in front after 8 minutes, sweeping in from Riccy P’s cross. The Striker denied a second by Norwich goalkeeper Krul.

Norwich then equalised a minute before halt-time through Teemu Pukki’s penalty, awarded after a Video Assistant Referee review for a foul by Cags on Lees-Melou.

Both sides spurned chances early in the second half, with Pukki heading straight at Schmeichel, while former Norwich midfielder Maddison shot went wide from a tight angle for Leicester.

Albrighton restored Leicester’s advantage, producing a fine first-time finish after being played in by Vardy.

Norwich thought they had a late equaliser from Kenny McLean’s header, but it was disallowed for Todd Cantwell being offside.

Leicester move up to eighth on six points, while Norwich sit 19th after three defeats.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match…
“3 Points is 3 points, but we did play below average and it has been below par to start with. we are sitting with 6 points out of 9 maximum on the board, and we would have took it at the beginning of the season, but it’s the manor we have took those points. we need to bounce back from this international break into a very tough match vs Man City, so we need to be on our A game!”
