So, it’s a fresh week, and the Foxes pulled out the big stops before Valentines Day on saturday as we capitalised on Liverpool errors, and managed to get all 3 points! What a win it was!!

We scored 3 goals in 8 minutes to come from a goal down to get the win against Liverpool 3-1 at the King Power.

Liverpool where very dominant for the majority of the first half but could not take advantage as Schmeichel twice denied Firmino, as Vardy struck the crossbar as our best chance of the half.

The Champions took a 67th minute lead when Firmino backheeled the ball into Salah, who first time side footed the ball for his 17th goal of the season!

James Maddison levelled it with 12 minutes remaining on the clock when his free-kick from the side of the area found the net, with an offside call overturned by VAR, as Armartey’s offside call that ‘obstructed play’ was onside, leading to the goal given, and another one in the bag for Madders!

Less than 3 minutes later, Vardy pounced on a mix-up between a stranded Alisson and a debutant Kabak to score into an empty net and put Leicester ahead… And play the guitar with the corner flag! Typical Vards!

The Foxes sealed the win with five minutes remaining when Wilfred Ndidi put a pass behind for Harvey Barnes to run on to and score.

Leicester went into 2nd place after winning against Liverpool, which was a 6 pointer and we managed to come out on top, edging even further away into the top 4!
Although, with Man Utd playing on Sunday, and getting a draw, we now sit in 3rd on the same points as Man United, but they edge a bit further on goal difference…

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match…
“It wasn’t the prettiest of matches, from both sides, but i thought we were very consistent against Liverpool! We kept at it and capitalised on there mistakes, and the 3 goals were deserved!
This season has overall been better for us, we have had more injuries, and are competing in more competitions, but we are still fighting for a top 4 spot, winning against the so called ‘big six’ at least once so far this season, and it shows that last season we where not ready for Champions League, but this season we deserve a chance and a spot in the top 4! I think we need to get recognised more as a top six side now, we’ve been up there a lot recently, but all we need now is consistency”
