£11m Bid for Sturaro – Risky Buy ?

Rumours have it that Leicester City have made an 11m bid of Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro who aged 25 has spent a lot of time sat on the bench at his current club. We are NOT convinced this is the right sort of player we should be going for… do YOU agree ?

Yes Sturaro has shown promise, having played for Italy’s national teams from Under 18’s – under 21’s and having made 4 starts for the full team, but he has only made 64 appearances for Juve in the last 4 seasons with many of those coming from the bench.

Our honest view is, we need to be recruiting players with PROVEN Premier League pedigree !

Juventus apparently are looking for nearer to £20m for him, but we ask you, wouldn’t you rather have Danny Drinkwater back from Chelsea for the same sort of money, a PROVEN Premier League WINNER !??
