This is no ordinary charity challenge.

For the last 6 days, The team have husky sled over 257 km in six days. They have had a grueling nine hour a day sledding schedule and have had to pull the sled themselves and their team of husky’s over a mountain and some of the more difficult terrain. At the end of each day they have been required to erect their own tents, cook and fulfill all camping duties in sub-zero temperatures. In addition they have been responsible for looking after our own team of huskies.

We are raising money towards the RSPCA Leicestershire Care4paws Appeal in order to build a vitally needed veterinary facility at Woodside animal centre on Scudamore road.

Could you walk past a suffering animal?

We didn’t think so. And here at Woodside Animal Centre, we can’t either.

Every week, over 75 neglected and abused animals are brought to our RSPCA Animal Rescue Centre in Leicester for care and rehabilitation. On average, that’s 10 animals in distress a day. The animals we see may be starving or injured. Most have been neglected or abused. All of them need individual love and attention

But we need your help.

We need to raise one million pounds for an on-site veterinary facility.

Whatever your donation, you’ll be helping us reach our target.

Thank you.
